Propaganda Ministern were born in 2015 in one of the most culturally depressing and deprived areas in the whole Europe. Their minimalist, haunting and apocalyptic sound signature draws its own tugging path towards the reincarnation of those tips peaked by some of the notably oddest artists of the 20th century. Among them, Captain Beefheart, Velvet Underground, Neu!, Ramones, Suicide, Devo, Joy Division, Flipper, Killing Joke, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft and Shellac of North America. They are cought on some sort of compelling motivation for a third millennium ideological nihilism, which comes with a featureless habit to the workings of consumerism. The frustrations stemming from that background are overtly expressed by the painstakingly regressive, compulsive repetition of uncanny, decontextualized slogans and archetypal anatema. On an edge between onanism and catharsis, they unnervingly stick to empty formulas and to the symbolic remains found among the twentieth-century totalitarian regimes and military catastrophes, among counter-cultures and the punk rock scene, without overlooking the mass propaganda strategies of the democratic individualism era.
